USL W-LEAGUE
Exceptional competitive women's soccer lives in the USL W-League, USL's highest level of women's soccer in the US and Canada. The 2008 campaign features a 41-team format in three conferences playing 12 or 14 regular season matches. The top women's players throughout the world compete in the USL W-League through the summer months. In addition to the league featuring international and former professional stars, elite collegiate players have the opportunity to also compete in the league while maintaining their collegiate eligibility. The league is recognized throughout the world for providing elite competition for women's players, while providing affordable family entertainment to many fans in each of the team locations.

| | The Ottawa Fury Women finished their regular season Sunday afternoon at Lusitano Stadium in Ludlow, Mass. with a 3-0 victory over the Western Mass Pioneers. The win moved the Fury record to 13-1-0; sealed the W-League Northern Division championship and gave them an automatic place into next weekend’s conference finals. The host and top seeded FC Indiana will play the first game of Friday’s Central Conference double header in Indianapolis, when they take on the winner of Wednesday's Toronto-Laval match. The Ottawa Fury Women (10-1-0), repositioned themselves at the top of the W-League Northern Division with a 2-0 win over the visiting Rochester Rhinos (5-5-2) this past Saturday.
