The Ottawa Fury have a new-look but very experienced coaching staff in 2010 led by Head Coach Carl Valentine. Valentine has had vast experience in the technical area at numerous clubs including the Vancouver Whitecaps, North Shore Soccer Association, TSS Academy and Sportstown FC. He and the rest of the Fury PDL coaching staff will be looking to build on 2009's successes!

Head Coach - Carl Valentine

Marc Lapointe joined the PDL coaching staff in 2008.
Marc has been involved in soccer for more then 20 years in both playing at coaching capacities. As a player, Marc has achieved numerous major team and individual accomplishments starting with winning the OFSAA Provincial Title at Lester B. Pearson High School in 1999. Marc was the team's top goal scorer in the season and the golden boot winner at the Provincial tournament.
Marc went on to Carleton University, where he played with the soccer team from 1999-2003, earning an All Ontario Provincial All Star Selection all 4 years he played, as well as an All National Tournament Team Selection in 2003. Marc led the entire nation in scoring in two separate years 2001 and 2002. The Carleton University Team was ranked #1 in the Country in 2003 and were National Championship runners up. Marc is the Carleton University all time leading goal scorer with 45 goals in 43 games played for the School.
Marc also played for the Ottawa Royals Soccer Club from 1999-2003 where he won 3 Ottawa League Titles and 3 Ottawa Cup Titles and in 2003 won the Ontario Cup and finished as National Championship runners up.
Marc's coaching experience began in 2002 when he founded and established Ottawa's first ever Ukrainian Soccer Team in Ottawa where he serves as the Club's Head Coach and guided this newly formed team up 2 divisions most recently winning the league earning promotion up another division.
The challenge of the PDL excites Marc immensely, and he is honoured to work with Carl Valentine whose background and experience will be a massive asset to the Club and try and bring Ottawa its first PDL Championship.
